Guidelines
- We proactively partner with and provide grants to a small number of respected, highly effective nonprofit organizations to achieve our mission.
- In addition, we make a limited number of smaller gifts.
- We desire to partner with nonprofit organizations that demonstrate:
- A Caring Perspective: possessing a philosophy of love for animals and commitment to the human/animal bond, consistent with our mission.
- Overall Effectiveness: showing efficiency, integrity and success in achieving goals.
- Exemplary Outreach: demonstrating savvy use of all appropriate media, communications vehicles and partnerships to achieve maximum awareness and education.
How To Apply
- We welcome requests from any nonprofit organization offering programs aligned with the Halo Pet Foundation mission (active 501(c)3 status required).
- We encourage you to apply for just one gift -- either a Grant or a Food Donation -- based on your greatest need (though you are not restricted from applying for both, it will not increase the odds of receiving a gift).
- We hope you will understand that exemplary, qualified applicants far exceed our capacity to give. So unfortunately, we must turn down many worthy proposals, and we can only respond when we are pursuing a donation.

Grants
- Out of respect for your time, we suggest sending a brief email letter of inquiry (foundation@halopets.com) prior to submitting a full proposal. Letters should include a summary of the program for which funds will be used and a link to appropriate web-based information about your group.
- If we request a full proposal, please include additional program and organizational information, including how you will promote your work, budget, 501(c)3 documentation, list of supporters, Board of Directors, and any relevant partnerships/affiliations.
- Send letters of inquiry to foundation@halopets.com
