Guidelines
- We proactively partner with and provide grants to a small number of respected, highly effective nonprofit organizations to achieve our mission.
- In addition, we make a limited number of smaller gifts.
- We desire to partner with nonprofit organizations that demonstrate:
- A Caring Perspective: possessing a philosophy of love for animals and commitment to the human/animal bond, consistent with our mission.
- Overall Effectiveness: showing efficiency, integrity and success in achieving goals.
- Exemplary Outreach: demonstrating savvy use of all appropriate media, communications vehicles and partnerships to achieve maximum awareness and education.
- Currently, we do not accept unsolicited Grant requests. The Foundation initiates communication with groups we are considering to support.
- Halo, Purely for Pets does however accept applications for donations of Halo food through its partnership with Freekibble.com.
